Poll: Should retailers get sales tax holidays?

Quiksilver to close 25 stores
Scirocco did not identify the store locations but said 21 of the 25 are in the United States. Twelve are full-priced stores mostly in California, Florida and Arizona in what Scirocco described as B and C markets where tourism isn’t strong. The others are discount factory outlets.

Kohl’s to move into 3 O.C. Mervyns

Kohl’s, Forever 21 take over Mervyn’s sites
According to Women’s Wear Daily, the leaseholders — shopping center owner, operator Macerich — said 12 of 41 Mervyn’s sites it owns will be leased to Kohl’s and 10 to Forever 21. So far no reports on who owns the leaseholds for the remaining leases bought by Kohl’s and Forever 21.
